Addiction

Relapse rates are high for most recovery programs. As a result, people struggling with addiction often find themselves in and out of treatment for years. Neurofeedback helps increase success in the treatment of addiction.  Combining neurofeedback with other addiction treatments can help a person escape the cycle of addiction.

Substance abuse is a brain disorder and we are still learning the many ways addiction changes the brain. Neurofeedback can identify the areas of the brain that aren’t working properly and train them. Neurofeedback isn’t a replacement for other forms of treatment but can serve as a powerful tool to help actually change the brain functions that support an addiction.
