How much does neurofeedback cost? When you consider how much NOT treating these disorders costs, it’s a real bargain. Thirty or forty sessions of neurofeedback are a fraction of the lifetime costs of untreated ADHD, PTSD, or other common disorders. Even treating these disorders with traditional therapy and medication can get incredibly expensive if those treatments drag out over the course of years, instead of months. One study estimated the combined cost of treatment and lost family productivity for a child with ADHD is around $4000 per year. Every year. Multiply that amount times the number of years a child with ADHD will require some type of therapeutic intervention and suddenly neurofeedback cost pales in comparison.
And what about the costs that are harder to measure? What about the lifetime impact of lowered self-confidence? Poor school or job performance? Troubled relationships? These are impossible to estimate because we’ll never know what a child could have accomplished if they’d only had the right help. Neurofeedback can help avoid these costs, at around the same rate as high-quality counseling services…but over the course of months instead of years.
Traditional neurofeedback sometimes takes 20 or 30 sessions to see noticeable results. Our sLORETA Live Z-Score Training approach is so powerful, we believe most people will start to notice the changes in as few as 10 sessions. We’re so confident, we’ve added a 10-session package to allow those who may be skeptical to start small with the option to add sessions later. We can’t promise miracles, but we do believe neurofeedback can be a “game changer” for those who have struggled to find relief from many common problems.
